When you think of Los Angeles, you think of movie stars, beaches, and... wineries, right?! Yes, LA actually has some good vineyards and wineries! The list below includes those wineries with tasting rooms only. There is a link at the bottom to more wineries in the Los Angeles area that do not offer tasting rooms.

30 minutes west of downtown Los Angeles is Malibu Beach. In the Santa Monica mountains above Malibu, roughly 50 wineries are now making wine.

There is a unique microclimate there at around 1,500 feet where coastal fog allows for some very tasty grapes.
